Department of Music<\/h2>\n

The Department of Music was established in 2005 and Honours in music was introduced in 2006. The department tries to teach the aesthetics of music in its theoretical and applied aspects and help the students in learning the professional skills in music and other performing arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

  • The department regularly organizes seminars, workshops.<\/li>\n
  • The department is involved in many interdisciplinary activities in performing arts and collaborates with other departments of the college and prepares the students for various cultural programmes and competitions.<\/li>\n
