Date: 29 August 2026<\/span><\/p>\n

The programme was organized with the objective of promoting a strong sporting culture among young people and creating awareness about the importance of physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and a healthy lifestyle.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the celebration, football tournaments involving school students from the Dantan region were organized by Bhatter College, Dantan (Autonomous).<\/span><\/p>\n

Boys\u2019 Football Tournament:<\/span><\/p>\n

A Four-Team Boys\u2019 Football Tournament was organized with the participation of four schools from the Dantan region:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Sararang Madhusudan Vidyapith<\/span>
\n2. Menkapur Krishnaprasad High School<\/span>
\n3. Kotpada High School<\/span>
\n4. Dantan High School<\/span><\/p>\n

The tournament provided an opportunity for young footballers to demonstrate their sporting skills, competitive spirit, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship.<\/span><\/p>\n

The team of Kotpada High School emerged as the Winner of the Boys\u2019 Football Tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

Girls\u2019 Football Exhibition Tournament:<\/span><\/p>\n

To encourage and promote greater participation of girls in football, a Girls\u2019 Football Exhibition Tournament was also organized.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participating schools were:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Dantan Binapani Girls\u2019 High School<\/span>
\n2. Belda Prabhati Balika Vidyalaya<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition tournament aimed to provide girls with a platform to participate in football and demonstrate their sporting abilities, confidence and teamwork.<\/span><\/p>\n

The team of Belda Prabhati Balika Vidyalaya emerged as the Winner of the Girls\u2019 Football Exhibition Tournament.<\/span><\/p>\n

The programme was honoured by the gracious presence of Hon\u2019ble MLA Shri Bhadra Hembram as the Chief Guest.<\/span><\/p>\n

The programme was also graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Giridhari Panda, Principal, Bhatter College, Dantan (Autonomous), along with esteemed professors and faculty members of the College.<\/span><\/p>\n

A large number of college students and non-teaching staff members were also present and extended their enthusiastic support to the participating teams.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the football tournaments, a Prize Distribution Ceremony was organized.<\/span><\/p>\n

To appreciate and recognize the efforts, participation and sporting spirit of the young players, Trophies, Medals and Certificates were presented to all participating teams, including the winning and other participating teams.<\/span><\/p>\n

The recognition of every participating team was intended to encourage students to continue their involvement in sports and to uphold the values of fair play, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship.<\/span><\/p>\n
