Department of Political Science
The Department of Political Science was started with the inauguration of the college in 1963 and both General and Honours courses were introduced in that year. Many distinguished teachers served the department and many students are well-placed in many spheres.
Highlights
- It has good collection of books (about 1400) in the Central Library and in the Departmental Library.
- The department regularly organizes seminars, workshops, Mock Parliament programmes.
