NSS Unit–III
Day–1
Date: 3rd June, 2026
First Session:
Watering of plant, followed by NSS inaugural song performed by our volunteers.
Speech delivered by the honourable guest.
The NSS Flag hoisting.
Second Session:
NSS volunteers carried out a cleanliness drive both inside and outside of the college campus.
Third Session:
Tobacco Awareness Campaign.
Day–2
Date: 4th June, 2026
First Session:
Yoga and free hand exercises.
Second Session:
Health Awareness Campaign and Health Checkup by Doctor Barsha Panda, Dantan Hospital.
Third Session:
Special lecture session on “Health is Wealth” delivered by Dr. Chandra Sankar Hazari, Dept. of Physical Education, Bhatter College, Dantan (Autonomous).
Day-3
Date: 5th June, 2026
The programme began with a session of free-hand exercises for NSS volunteers.
Then, we visited Saraibazar Punamchand Smriti Primary School to conduct educational and environmental activities. A poster competition on environmental conservation and protection was organized there for primary school students.The best posters were selected, and prizes were distributed to the winners.
Thereafter, a quiz competition related to nature, wildlife, climate change, environmental protection, and World Environment Day was conducted for the school students.
In the final session, sapling distribution programme was organized among college students. Moreover, NSS volunteers also carried out tree plantation activities by planting several saplings within the college campus.
Day–4
Date: 6th June, 2026
First Session:
The day commenced with a yoga and physical exercise session in the gracious presence of Prof. (Dr.) Giridhari Panda, Principal of the College.
Second Session:
A visit was made to Chaulia Primary School. Various cultural and educational activities were organized for the students, including a drawing competition, recitation, speech delivery, and dance performances.
Third Session:
A special lecture on Indian Constitution.
Day 5
Date: 07.06.2026
First Session:
The day commenced with a yoga and physical exercise session.
Second Session:
The second session was devoted to a college campus cleaning programme.
Third Session:
The final session focused on the theme “Safe Drive, Save Life.”
Day–6
Date: 8th June, 2026
First Session:
The day commenced with a yoga and physical exercise session.
Second Session:
Plastic-Free Campus Drive.
Third Session:
Special lecture on Role of Education and Recreation in NSS Activities.
Day–7
Date: 9th June, 2026
First Session:
Yoga and physical exercise.
Second Session:
Plastic-Free Drive at Shara Sanka Dighi.
Third Session:
Experience exchange
